February Wedding Signage

Recently I did wedding signage for multiple weddings that occurred on February 9, 2013.  One set of signs consisted of a dinner menu, a cake menu, and a couple of table signs for their escort cards and sign in table.  As you can see below the dinner menu and cake menu were white writing on black board.  The client wanted to have chalkboard signs but instead of using actual chalkboards we used black foam board which appeared just like a real chalkboard.  Great idea since they wanted the signage to be permanent and I hand painted these with acrylic paint.

Local Videographer

Check out another local~ Michael Leong Weddings~ a videographer for your weddings and special events!

Michael has a degree in film and has impeccable film editing skills.  He  has been doing film work for the past 5 years for various marketing projects and organizations within the United States and also outside of the States.  He recently did  a wedding in Hong Kong, China. What I loved about this film maker is he teams up with a professional photographer for his wedding shoots and during the reception following the wedding ceremony he takes the photos that have been taken throughout day/ceremony and creates a slideshow for the wedding party and guests to view before the celebration ends!

If you are in search for a great  photographer for your wedding, special events or even just to do some great family photos check out this gal Amber Arnaz~ Arnaz Photography.  I personally did a family photo session with her recently and she did amazing work. On top of that she is easy to work with and the location she suggested made a gorgeous backdrop for our family photos.  Her pricing is very reasonable and within 2 days she had mailed out to us our disk of over 56 photos! I highly recommend her!

Tips/Advice

Now that wedding season for 2012 has died down and coming towards the end of the year, here is some calligraphy/invitation advice for the newly engaged couples planning for their 2013 wedding.

As you have all heard before planning ahead is key to your sanity during this time. I always say plan ahead as if the worse will happen so that there is plenty of time to compensate for delays and mistakes.  The last couple of weeks leading up to your wedding can be very hectic and stressful so the more organized and ahead you are on your list to do the better off YOU will be to enjoy your big day.

Recent Projects- Wedding Gifts

Hi!

Some of my latest projects have been some great wedding gifts to the bride and groom or gifts for their new spouses.  Recently I wrote out an entire wedding ceremony in a beautiful journal which was given to the bride and groom for their anniversary. What a wonderful keepsake and such a special and unique gift idea! Pictures will be posted in the gallery soon!

Another great idea was a gift from the bride to groom on their wedding day. This Bride wanted to write out in a journal their bucket list of where they wanted to go and what they wanted accomplish in their new life together.
